Sky of gray

*I know this is randomly fixated together but I though I needed to get words out of my head so I wrote them here. I doubt anyone would enjoy these words so oddly typed but here we go.*

It was the summer of 1939
Wars marked the ages and the times
Life was hard because we had to recover
From one Great Depression, we were lead into another
Because a man rose to one nation's seat of power
And because we were weak, we were the ones he chose to devour
It's true to me he was a man without a heart
So we took what we could and ran out the door
Just to be torn apart and ripped apart unlike before
They shipped us far from one another
I your betrothed and you my sweet lover
And I knew deep inside that we'd both be together
So I took my time just to write a letter
And it said..

As schindler's list reminds you of your hell
Remember your sweet father will meet you there
And as the wind carries you away
The rain will wash away your sky of gray
And we can live as hate pursues
Our dreams were shattered but our hearts were too
Our hopes and dreams will guide us through
Incomplete but perfect as we find out life's mysteries and clues

This was the first part of the pain
Second they stripped us clothe-less out in the rain
Third they worked us until we hated our lives
Then finally took us to the fields to be shot and to die
But thankfully God spared us of this cruelty
Instead he pardoned us into a world full of insecurity
Our release came just in time
And when I saw you I looked deep into your eyes
Your complexion seem unusually dull
I caught you in time before your fall
I held you, balanced you up against the wall
Wondering if death had made his call
But then your eyes opened as if you say
I knew that our love would wash the gray away
There were only a few words you had spoken
Then you fell away into death's sweet embrace
There were the words I wrote etched in your face
And they were

As schindler's list reminds you of your hell
Remember your sweet father will meet you there
And as the wind carries you away
The rain will wash away your sky of gray
And we can live as hate pursues
Our dreams were shattered but our hearts were too
Our hopes and dreams will guide us through
Incomplete but perfect as we find out life's mysteries and clues

Hmmmm...I Need To

I really do need to do my music...i was thinking maybe just doing a rough vocal of how it could sound then uploading that.

random or not

Hey Faron. how's life been treating you lately? Bet you're ready for a long summer break. I know I'm always telling you how good your lyrics are, and I really mean it! These lyrics have such a profound depth to them that It seem's like you could've lived them yourself. The quality of your work enlightens and inspire's, myself and every one who has ever read your work. You have the talent and the vision, run with it. I'll keep reading your stuff and hope to hear some music put to it. The other day I sang your song" Closer", for the first time, for a few friends. They were totally blown away by your Talent. Keep going strong. S. R. W.
